I have met with Secretary of State for Health, Matt Hancock MP, along with my parliamentary colleagues from Scarborough and Whitby, Robert Goodwill, and East Yorkshire, Sir Greg Knight, to press for extra funding for Scarborough Hospital.
I have today secured the support of a group of over eighty Parliamentarians to sign a letter to the Chancellor about what is needed in terms of commitment to the full Transport for the North Strategic Plan.
The Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Jeremy Wright, has made it clear to me that he is prepared to force network operators to enable roaming between providers to improve mobile coverage in rural areas if they do not come up with a solution voluntarily.

I’m sorry we have had to extend Article 50 again. But we will leave the EU. We have made that solemn promise in the Referendum in 2016 and we will deliver on it. At the moment there is no doubt that Parliament will not accept no-deal so we will have to find another way through this.
