New appointment for MP for Thirsk and Malton

Thirsk and Malton MP, Kevin Hollinrake, has today announced that he has been appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP.

The Queen’s Speech. 21st June

Today’s Queen's Speech was dominated by legislation to deliver Brexit over the next two years. In a low-key event, Her Majesty announced 27 new bills, including 8 which relate to Brexit covering trade, immigration, fisheries, nuclear safety, agriculture and sanctions.
