Kevin Hollinrake MP joins Yorkshire CF to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
On Saturday 5th September Kevin Hollinrake MP will be dusting off his walking boots and joining members of Yorkshire CF to climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks - Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-Y-Ghent. The team will be raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance - a charity close to Kevin's heart as only on Monday whilst he was visiting the YAA base near Wakefield with the Chancellor, George Osborne, the Topcliffe air ambulance was attending an incident which involved a friend of Kevin's who was transferred to the LGI with serious back injuries following an accident.
As Kevin says: "I think the point was made on Monday that the service has touched the life of nearly every person in Yorkshire at some time or other. It really was a huge privilege to be able to see first hand the excellent work of the YAA team and their extremely professional operation. I am delighted to be taking part in the Three Peaks Walk along with Yorkshire CF to raise funds for this very worthwhile charity. I would be grateful for any donation you feel you can give."
