Farmers’ flood prevention work supported by rural MP

 In support of farmers and landowners in his constituency dealing with the recent extreme wet weather Kevin Hollinrake, MP for Thirsk and Malton, has submitted a written question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

Kevin Hollinrake visits communities in Thirsk and Malton which have been impacted by floods and witnessed first-hand what upset and damage it has caused. He praised the valiant, heart-warming response emergency services and volunteers have made.

More trains for Constituency

Passengers will soon have more timetable choice and more seats on trains through the constituency thanks to a new agreement between the Government and rail franchises.
